The City of Sun Prairie and Town of Sun Prairie have come together to create a Cooperative Plan to manage growth and change. The goal is to help plan for future growth, protect environmental corridors and natural resources, and limit loss of agricultural lands. This Plan also aids property owners in planning for their properties to reduce uncertainty, improve coordination between the City and Town, and address related issues of mutual concern.
The City and Town have each adopted the Cooperative Plan in August 2026.
