Paying a Fine

Sun Prairie Municipal Court forfeitures are due within 60 days of the judgement. Payments can be made online, in person, or by mail. 

To pay in person, come to the front desk at Sun Prairie City Hall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To pay by mail, send checks or money orders made out to Sun Prairie Municipal Court (do not send cash through the mail!) to 300 E. Main St., Sun Prairie, WI 53590.

If you feel you are poverty stricken and do not have the ability to pay the forfeiture, please contact the court to schedule a poverty hearing and/or fill out poverty paperwork. The court clerk can be reached at courtclerk@cityofsunprairie.com or 608-837-9541..
