He met his wife of over 20 years and began a life in Sun Prairie. For the last five years, Barry has worked with the children living in The Element on Main Street apartment complex - it is is true passion. Being a role model and reliable, safe person is Barry's passion. Safety is his number one priority for our youth. Growing up, Barry had many challenges and swore to himself that he would not leave any child unsafe. At the Element, he is known for being a reliable, safe adult and his home is a safe haven. Teran PetersonNeighborhood Navigator Program ManagerTpeterson@CityofSunPrairie.com Navigators@cityofsunprairie.com (608) 216-5122 Teran joined the neighborhood navigators in 2018 serving the Vandenberg community. After moving neighborhoods and staying connected as a advisor to the navigators she rejoined the program as Program Manager in 2023. Teran is heavily involved in the Sun Prairie community and has served numerous roles: Community Liaison with SPASD, Dane County Board of Supervisors, Women in focus inc, BEAM Awards, Juneteenth, Multi cultural fair, youth and families commission, The Sun Prairie Housing commission, Sun Prairie Stronger committee, as well as being a Realtor. She has two children and two puppies that she enjoys hiking, fishing, and playing football with! | |
