Announcements:

Thank you, volunteers!

In late January, the Historical Museum held an event to recognize its volunteers for their 2025 accomplishments. Over the year, 28 generous volunteers contributed 1,752 hours of work to support the Museum’s mission of connecting Sun Prairie with its history, cultivating community pride and shared knowledge.

Volunteer projects ranged from photographing, scanning, and uploading artifacts into the Museum’s online collections database (viewable at https://sunprairie.catalogaccess.com/home) to writing new online tours highlighting local history (check them out here https://theclio.com/user/9141). Whether it’s indexing historical records, preparing for new exhibits, helping at events, diving into marketing strategy, or any of the other unique projects thrown their way, volunteers are at the heart of the Museum’s operation.

Museum staff send a sincere thank you to all volunteers past and present!
