The Ad-hoc Steering Committee on Transportation has created a citizen survey to gather feedback on residents’ alternative/public transportation preferences, thoughts, and suggestions. The survey will gauge participants’ awareness and usage of existing transportation options and solicit their feedback on transportation options not currently offered within Sun Prairie. The results from this survey will be one of several items the Committee considers when drafting its recommendations to the City Council.
The survey is available online at www.cityofsunprairie.com/transportation and takes less than fifteen minutes to complete. There are also hard copies available at the City Hall, Westside Community Building at the Park & Recreation Desk and Public Library, Sunshine Place, and the Colonial Club. Completed surveys can be dropped off Monday through Friday at any of the above locations during hours of operation. Participants may also place a completed survey in the drop boxes located at City Hall or the Westside Community Building which are available during all hours.
In addition, information regarding the survey is being sent through the school district, Sun Prairie Area Ministries Organization as well as though the various organizations that have been involved with the conversation regarding transportation in Sun Prairie.
“The Committee hopes as many people as possible make their voice heard and complete the Transportation Survey. I, and the other Committee members, look forward to reviewing the results and considering them as we determine what recommendations to send to the City Council.” – Council President Al Guyant, Chairman of the Ad-hoc Steering Committee on Transportation
