The Wetmore Park splashpad and playground project will soon break ground!
- The Parks crew will be at Wetmore starting the week of March 1 for demolition of the playground and removal of six trees to prepare the site. We will be replacing every tree we remove.
- The park is still open, but the playground area will be closed.
- The shelter and restrooms will not open this spring. They will open with the opening of the splashpad in late June/early July.
- The crew will no longer flood the ice rinks. They will be open as long as they are skateable, but anticipate them closing by March 15.
