Please join the City of Sun Prairie for the first Community Open House to provide input regarding the future vision for properties at Main and Bristol Streets – the site of the July 2018 gas leak and explosion. Parking is available in the City’s Public Works facility parking lot across the street.
The event will be held on Thursday, May 2 at New Perspective Senior Living at 222 S. Bristol Street from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM on the 2nd floor.
The open house will coincide with the Downtown Sun Prairie Artful Wine Walk event, but all community members are invited to participate in the open house. The event will feature a number of interactive exercises for the community to voice their ideas and goals for the future of this area. The City encourages residents and others interested in Sun Prairie’s future to attend. Individuals can stop by at any time during the open house event. This will be the first of many opportunities that members of the community will have to participate in the process of developing a vision and redevelopment strategy for properties at Main and Bristol Streets.
