For seven decades the community of Sun Prairie has celebrated its rural roots with this iconic festival in mid-August. This exhibition will display a selection of highlights from the festival’s history including the Teenie Weenie Queen and Miss Sun Prairie competitions, as well as a peek behind the scenes of festivals throughout the years.
Join the Sun Prairie Historical Library & Museum for an exhibition opening week during a break from Sun Prairie's most beloved festival! Long-time residents will enjoy a walk down memory lane and new residents will learn what has kept the tradition thriving. The Museum will be open for expanded hours on Wednesday, August 16th from 11:00am until the start of the Corn Festival parade at 6:00pm.
Public parking is available behind the Museum and admission is free. Located at 115 East Main Street, Sun Prairie. Regular open hours are Wednesday - Saturday 11:00am - 4:00pm.
