The inaugural Madison, Wisconsin Madtown Open Pickleball Tournament at Wyndham Hills in nearby Sun Prairie. The venue will be have 10 dedicated courts. This is Doubles play only. This is an non-sanctioned event. Play at the appropriate skill level. Please no sandbagging. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in each division. T-shirt for each registered participant.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE (subject to change)

Thursday: All Mixed 60+ Divisions & Beginner Round Robin Level

(All Thursday scheduled brackets should be prepared for Friday play if other brackets are combined.)

Friday: Mixed Doubles (18-49 and 50-59)

Saturday: Women’s Doubles (18-49, 50-59 and 60+) & Open/Pro Men’s Doubles

Sunday: Mens Doubles (18-49, 50-59 and 60+) & Open/Pro Women’s Doubles

Age Divisions: (*Age determined as of December 31, 2022)

Under age 50 (to age 49) Age 50-59 Age 60+ (Intermediate and Advanced Only). Teams must play in division of youngest team member. Older teams may play in younger division if desired.

Divisions for Male, Female and Mixed Doubles.

Skill Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Open/Pro

Beginner Level: New to the game to approximately 3.0 skills level. We will have a Beginner Level “fun” division for teams to play a Round Robin schedule, where you play everyone in your pool once (1 game to 15). Teams can be made up of two individuals (males, females or mixed) at the Beginner Level. Beginners, find your spouse, neighbor or friend and sign up. (Divisions subject to day and/or time change)

Intermediate Level: 3.0-3.5 skill level (approximate)

Advanced Level: 4.0 and above skill Level (approximate)

Open/Pro Level: This will be for anybody who wants to test their game against the best. (No age divisions)

Players can enter both Mixed and Male/Female Divisions. One age group entry per division.

***Open/Pro players can enter Advanced Divisions also.

Please note that current event times and dates are subject to change. Please also note that age brackets and divisions may be combined at later date.

This tournament is non-refundable, however, we will accept player transfers. Please note, however, that all payments for player substitution will need to be done outside of Pickleball Den and is the responsibility of the individuals to sort out. We can and will alternate players in the event a player must drop out and/or is no longer available or able to participate. It is the responsibility of the individuals and teams to communicate and make these arrangements prior to the tournament taking place. We cannot offer player/team refunds or credits at this point unfortunately, so please accordingly.
