Other Transportation Options

The City of Sun Prairie is committed to providing high-quality transit service to all residents living within the community. The City currently operates a shared-ride taxi service and is served by Metro Transit for express commuter bus service.

Shared-Ride Taxi

The shared-ride taxi provides door-to-door transportation service within a 3-mile radius of Sun Prairie, east of the interstate.

Express Commuter Bus Service

Sun Prairie is served by Metro Transit for express commuter bus service.  The service operates during the peak commuter periods, between Sun Prairie and the Capitol Square, with limited-stops along East Washington Avenue.

Park & Ride

The  Sun Prairie Park & Ride lot is located at 2751 O'Keeffe Ave, at the corner of Reiner Road and O'Keeffe Avenue.  This lot provides access to Metro Transit Service during peak commuting periods, as well as provides access to regional bicycle trails.
