Construction on the Broadway Drive, Steven Street, Blazer Court and Dickson Drive construction project has been delayed. The original start date was planned for Monday, May 13, 2019. Due to weather, the contractor has pushed back the start date to Monday, May 20, 2019.
Even though ‘Road Closed’ signs will be posted, traffic shall be maintained at all times for residents living within the construction limits, although delays should be expected. Cut-through traffic is prohibited during construction. In areas where curb and gutter, sidewalks, aprons and driveways are being poured, driveways may be inaccessible for up to 21 days. Notices will be given prior to concrete pours.
As a result of the construction project, mailboxes with be impacted. The contractor will be setting up temporary mailboxes at a location near the park on Steven Street. Once the construction is complete, they will be reinstalling the existing mailboxes.
