Ice Rinks


The City of Sun Prairie Ice Rinks are closed for the season; goals have been removed, lights are off, and efforts to maintain ice have ended. Thank you for another great season!

Operating Hours


Rinks are usable anytime during park hours of  9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Lights will be on for use at night until 9 p.m.

Cross Country Ski Trails


Sheehan Park has 3 different cross country ski trails, ranging from .95 miles to 1.35 miles. All trails are rated easy to intermediate. Ski trails begin by the hill located near the Sheehan east shelter. Trails are signed appropriately. Cross country ski trails are available on an "as is" basis and are not groomed.
