Crime Victim Resources

Domestic Abuse
We recognize the serious and devastating consequences domestic violence has on individuals, the family and the community. We believe that law enforcement intervention is critical in the effort to break the pattern of violence that troubled families experience.

Realizing our role in preventing domestic violence, we have adopted a policy that reflects a mandatory arrest attitude and a commitment to investigate thoroughly and professionally all domestic abuse cases and treat them as serious crimes.

Information about domestic abuse intervention in Dane County can be obtained online.
